American Kennel Club - Meet The Breeds Event NYC - January 2020

My co-worker approached me to help out with product development for the AKC Meet The Breeds NYC event. Even though no one asked me to actually do this, I was on a creative kick and decided to start drawing some cute, cartoon-looking dogs and playful, block-lettering that I thought would be fun for t-shirts and other merchandise. The higher-ups ended up loving it and gave myself and my co-worker the go-ahead to make this the official merch design for the event.

“Bark Madness” Breed Group Dog Bandanas

Early in 2020, I decided to pitch the idea of “March Madness” themed, dog breed group bandanas for the AKC online shop. I worked with one of our suppliers to develop and perfect my designs, using Adobe Photoshop. Unfortunately, due to the timing of March Madness getting cancelled and the rise of Covid-19, these products never really took off.

*They do look darn cute on a dog though.
